What are you working on these days?
I’m always very busy, which is actually good and keep me on track. Right now we are working on couple of interesting projects. The most challenging project on the board is campaign for McCann Erickson India called “The Ideas Books”.The goal is to produce 3 hi-res pop-culture icons totally in CGI in different poses. Also we are working on couple of projects for our long-term client Ubisoft. We are constantly take care of key visuals production, connecting and research. We are also finalizing another CGI project for Newport Beach Film Festival, which is a very complicated from the technical point of view, but I believe right now we are on good track. Our motion team just started 3D motion project for Mazda Europe. These mentioned are just several from a dozen or so projects in progress. Besides as a partner in Ars Thanea I have a lot of various task in-between. So as you see – it’s basically multitasking ;)
What are your thoughts about participating in the Visuelt-seminars?
I heard of it in the past and I’m really excited to have the opportunity to speak on Visuelt. We will come by two – together with my partner and creative director of Ars Thanea – Bartlomiej Rozbicki and hopefully we can tell you some interesting stuff what’s going on board in our company. Share some interesting projects and case studies. We find Visuelt as one of the most important conferences for designers in Norway and we are honoured that we have chance to share some of our insights during this prestige event.
What inspires you (a website, a book, a film, a person…)?
This is very common question in interviews, but the answer is not obvious. What inspires me depends on multiply things: what am I currently working on, how do I feel, what is state of my mind etc. Sometimes it’s a book, sometimes just scrap of paper with interesting drawing, sometimes controversial picture, a magazine, website, bird, movie, bus stop, music, nature… I can find inspiration in all things which are surrounding me. Inspiration cannot be defined so easily. After all you are what you see and what you feel.
